Boat House - Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta
EOS 1D, 28-70mm @ 37mm, ISO 200, f/5.6, 2s This was my first commercially successful image taken with a digital camera after my switch from film just a month before. It was taken in 2002 with the 4 megapixel EOS 1D and the old 28-70 f/2.8 lens that predated the first 24-70mm lens. Today, a 4mp image cropped to a 4:3 aspect ratio resulting in just a bit over 3mp is almost not viable. But the advent of Topaz AI Gigapixel has given it new life as a 15 megapixel image and I can tell absolutely no degradation at the pixel level. I've reprocessed this in Capture One Pro 12 and Topaz Studio followed by AI Gigapixel to get me a photo that can still be commercially viable in 2018. E.J. Peiker http://www.EJPhoto.com
