Parliament - Helsinki, Finland
a7R III, 28-75mm @ 36mm, ISO 100, f/11, 1/3s
I spent about a half hour all over the grounds of the Finnish parliament shooting this up close, at a distance, from the lawn, by the statues, etc.  It was about 5:30AM.  After a few minutes of doing this it struck me that I am the only human being here at a major federal building.  I never encountered any security, never had anyone approach me to see why I am photographing from every angle on the grounds of a major government installation - it was mind blowing.  In the USA, I might never see the light of day again if I tried to gain this type of access...

Great story...a sad commentary on the U.S. The fountains make this extra special.

I'm amazed you could move about so freely anywhere like this in this crazy world! I love the angle here, making the most of the building and grounds - and of course the dawn light bathing the building facade.
