Motif: Hydroskimmer

Subject: Hydroskimmer, Location: Ebeltoft, Denmark

There are at least a couple of possibilities to travel between the danish mainland and their islands, you can either use the huge bridges through the Baltic Sea or you can travel by ferry. This is one of those ferries, operating between Ebeltoft (East Coast) and the islands. The image is two or three years old and I’ve forgotten how much cars it can take but it is quite a big ship. I hope ‘Hydroskimmer’ is the right translation since ‘Tragflächenboot’ wouldn’t tell you that much

The scene is heavily backlit, all the color is nearly gone so I decided to turn it into an b/w image, hope this was the right choice.
