Saint George's - Grenada
Here is one I took from a sunset catamaran sail during a trip to the southern Caribbean island of Grenada last week. This is a dusk photo of the picturesque St. George's waterfront, the capital city and population center for this small island nation of approximately 110,000 people. The vast majority of the population is of West African descent, their ancestors brought to Grenada as slaves to harvest the many spices that grow here. Grenada gained it's independence from Great Britain in 1974 and was liberated from communist takeover by a coalition of Caribbean forces and American forces in October 1983.a7R III, 24-70mm @ 40mm, ISO 6400, f/3.2, 1/60s E.J.
