Winter at the California coast - never really cold but can be quite windy and not everything withstands the force behind those gusts. Luckily rare events so far in this part of the world. It's on us, to make it stay that way.

I took this image shortly after a storm in January. Since it was still very windy, it was a bit of a challenge taking the picture on the floating platform and in low light.

You've really captured to mood here-I like the birds flying around in the background and the color in the sky. Very dramatic and descriptive.
