Is this in Ontario?  Looks like you've found yourself a fixer-upper there, Leigh......  :)   Old houses like this always make me wonder what happened...... it looks like a family house with several rooms, so where did they go?   If only it could talk.....

It appears to be a lovely, peaceful place with no near neighbours to fall out with, and the track leads the eye nicely into the scene and beyond.

Carol kind of said it all! A real story-teller. I too start to speculate about who might have lived there and why it was run down. Looks like the ocean/lake in the distance? A poignant portrayal. Love the track leading the eye off into the distance. With a gate....hmmm.
