View across the Lago Maggiore, Ticino, Switzerland, towards Locarno and its Monti, under a dramatic cloudscape.

Nikon D700 with Nikon 70-200mm f2.8VTII.

Image processed with PS CC and Nik Silver Efex 2.

I have looked at this image on three different screens now, and each one just gives me the same impression that this is way too dark as presented to see properly and appreciate what may be an amazing scene, Sinuhe. :(

Your 500 px version is much better for me!  I am beginning to wonder if your screen is set too bright? thus making images seem lighter than they are when you are processing them...... this is only happening lately, so has something changed?
