motif: but a very small boat

Well, actually just small in the frame. For a week in Galapagos we had a total of one interesting sunset - and the only thing in sight was a relatively large boat well off in the distance. Rotated about 1 degree but otherwise full frame. I'm not wild about the placement of the horizon but I like this better than ones shot with either more water or more sky but I'm more than open to suggestions.

1Ds, 100-400 at 100, 1/500 & f8, ISO 250.

I like this, nice comp and color. Just goes to show us how small we are compared to alot of things, including the ocean. Looks like a pretty big boat to me :wink:

The composition works for me. I don't think moving the horizon off-centre would improve this. The boat provides a nice balance to tue sun.
