Helix Bridge to Marina Sands - Singapore
a7R Mk II, 16-35mm, ISO 400, f/14, 20s

The Helix Bridge, designed to replicate human DNA leads pedestrians across Marina Bay to the Marina Sands Hotel in Singapore.  Believe it or not I actually reduced saturation slightly in this compared to what the RAW file captured.

Very interesting photo and architecture. As I used to say in my youth "What a trip"! Clearly, this setting is not in Kansas.

Absolutely stunning! Awesome leading lines, glow from the lights and a few stars peaking through. Really nicely done.

Perfect composition with the walkway coming out of the upper left. Curious why I don't see a single person. Was the human DNA off limits for humans at the time you took this?
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

There actually were a number of people walking across the bridge but at a 20 second exposure, they don't record as they aren't in a single place long enough to be visible given all of the light that is coming in from the lights.

Of course. Now I'm embarrassed that I didn't figure that out, since I often use the same trick in populated places, using ND filters.
