I think I got this one in under the wire. :lol:

This was taken when we went to Florida last April. Bill thought he would get the birds from a different view point and almost gave me heart failure with him being out in the ocean with his (at that time) new 600 lens. :x

At least he's not using a groundpod. :wink: I have to admit I have yet to bring my setup into the surf but I have ended up in less active water. :) Good angle to take this from. It might have been better if you got him facing you but he probably would have been made about you chasing away his subjects. :D

Great shot of Bill....yeah, I imagine that you were a bit tense seeing a new 600mm out there. I've been on the edge of the surf and in calm water but I don't know if I'd have the guts to get out there with the waves splashing. Nice shot!!
