Sunderbans Tiger Reserve, India...the land of the Swamp Tigers many of which are man eaters....and these people enter their realm with nothing but a prayer on their lips to collect honey in those inhospitable creeks... and those dark murky waters are inhabited by Estuarine Crocodiles... every year the striped cat takes his toll but they keep coming back not knowing whether they will return or their bones will rot. Life is slightly different here.
When conducting a photo tour, as I rounded a bend after crossing them, found fresh marks heading towards these men, Do not know what happened afterwards. D7000 + Sigma 150-500 OS ; 1/640 ; f/6.3 ; ISO 400 http://www.mywildindia.com/ |
