An interesting exercise in subject separation. A very shallow depth of field was used along with enhancing the blue of the gondola compared to all other blues, and also making the gondola just a tad brighter than the rest of the image.

The composition is framed by beams of yellow steel, has a row of tents forming a line that extends under an arch and ends at a green tree behind it. Snow topped mountains in the distance contain the scene. It seems chaotic at first glance, but there is an underlying order in this image.

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
