We've just returned from our Easter vacation on Sardinia......lovely time...much better weather than locally in central EU.

Thanks for C&C.

Image made with Nikon D7100 and Nikkor 18-80mm.

The thumbnail looked like the trees were on fire! Lovely fiery sunrise coming up to lighten the darkness with the promise of a new day!

An enticing view- love the contrasts and that red eye looking through the trees. Both beautiful, and in an odd way, a bit menacing. (If you read too much Tolkien...) ;). I think I prefer the former interpretation!

Thanks for stopping by, Cynthia, and the interesting comment.
at 06:00 am I felt very little in the way of menace - rather peaceful quiet beauty.

Yes, I can see the tranquility too! I have an over-active imagination, I think. :)
