Torres del Paine - Chile

It's a pretty tough hike up to this spot as you gain several thousand feet and have to do some bouldering but the view when you get there with the Torres rising 5000 feet above you to an altitude of 9000 feet is humbling.  In the picture is my friend Mark who I made my last trip to southern South America with...

Oh, that is spectacular. The way the lines continue into the water (as reflections) is just beautiful. I hope to get to Patagonia some day.

Including someone in this shot gives the viewer a valuable sense of scale. The stark bare rock outlines are beautifully captured and flow so well down into the reflection below. Great shot!

Fantastic image. It's like standing in the mouth of mother earth, looking at her teeth.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
