I do have permission from him to do so, in fact I sent him the file and I asked him to help me process it as I'm not so great with skin tones.

Of course, there's a story to it. Greg, E.J. and I were in Anchorage, and we were about to go out to this pond and we wanted to be prepared with waders. E.J. was ready in about five seconds, but Greg and I had 6mil waders and in the warmer weather we had to spend some time peeling back extra layers before putting them on. Standing in the parking lot, E.J. started to get hot and pulled his waders down to cool off. This only delayed things even more as I went for my 28-105mm to capture the scene. :)

Another note: I see E.J. is wearing one of his hats in this image. It was lost shortly afterwards during a minor accident that could have been much worse. We were not with him at the time and I'm just glad he ended up being okay. His camera body and lens ended up by going for a swim, too, but he was able to take care of them properly and they ended up fine, too.

Digital capture with Canon 1D, 28-105mm lens handheld.

Nice rental car. ;)

You might want to tone down the highlights by selecting just the legs....

I feel better about the silly wide-angle shot of me now... a little...

You'd think someone who lives in Arizona would have a bit more tan on his legs!

:P

The only reason he doesn't look thrilled is because he had to wait and he was overheating, nothing to do with the fact the camera was pointed at him! (I think....) :)
