Canyon de Chelly - Arizona
D3x, 24-70mm @ 58mm, ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/40
I took this a few years ago but just processed it tonight.  I remember the evening well and it struck me how the severely backlit rock formation was lit up by the reflected light from the cliff face in front of it...

The reflected light was the first thing that caught my eye.

The reflected light really makes this shot -- well executed. Glad you retrieved the image from the archive!

The unconventional light makes this scene very attractive.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
