Took this a while back but only processed today.  D3 and 300 2.8 VR.  You are welcome to click on the image...  the story behind it being the usual tourist visit to a Maasai village... In the back ground sat the elderly woman, watching the goings on. One wonders what was going through her mind.. Exposed for a low key effect.

Nice shot -- I'm just guessing that was going through her mind was something like these tourists are worst than the flies.

sometimes I am guilty of being only focussed on the latest project... gotta get a good shot of.... when I was at that village, it was more like ok I'm going along with the crowd thingy.   As a person, i tend not to go with the crowd and look for different things..  hence my radar being on the perimeters and not the dancers in front of me.

this one touched me... saw it subconsciously at the time but didn't have the ability then to produce in the image what I felt then.  I've revisited her various shots quite a few times and only recently understood the translation to what I felt and how to mimic in the image.

hope that makes sense

and my sincere thanks to you guys for taking the time to comment.
