A big Tanker waiting to continue its transit from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea, the locks at  Miraflores closes slowly behind our ship the National Geographic Sea Lion.

A rare view -- and where was the Sea Lion coming from/going to?

Memories flooding back.... a splendid view of the locks.... TFS. Would appreciate a few shots from Gatun Lake if you have some.

Almost a waterlevel shot. Really a neat perspective.

Thanks Gary, good that it called your attention... This ship spends 5 months traveling back and forward between Costa Rica and Panama, at this very moment it is working in Alaska and will spend part of the year at Baja California as well, one of the many ships own by Lindblad/NatGeo this year I will complete 50 crossings of the Panama Canal working aboard this ship. Greetings from Costa Rica!

Thanks so much Pralay, I do have several of the Lake and Barro Colorado Island as well. Thanks for the kind comments!

Thanks Stan, I went to lowest levels possible (only allowed for crew and staff) I took advantage of that to get the lowest possible. Glad that you like the final result!
