Surprised there are no fireworks shots from the 4th. Old Town Alexandria Virginia celebrates its birthday with fireworks instead of the 4th. This is from the 9th.

Nikon D4s, 24-120mm @ 24mm, f 18, ss Bulb and cover technique to get multiple exposures.

Wow Stan, I love the concentric bursts! I would crank up the saturation, since to my eye the orange looks a bit anemic.

I like this and the subtle colors. It reminds me of a flower and blossom. I suppose it is too costly to have to firework celebrations and why compete when you want to celebrate a birthday instead? :)

Well Old Town is actually older than the Declaration; 267 yrs vs. 240 yrs, so the town feels it only needs to celebrate its' own B"day :D
