I visited the beautiful Faroe Islands last week and saw some of the most stunning scenery in my life. Some proved to be quite hard to capture. This is the waterfall at Gásadalur. All comments welcome!

Stunning location Ivan -- the dynamic range of the sunset and waterfall in shadow is a bit of a challenge. Blending exposures or tone mapping could help out.

Agree with Gary, with a naturally low dynamic range camera like the 70D you ahve almost no chance to get this in a single shot. Even ultra high dynamic range cameras like a D810 or a medium format camera would be challenged by this scenario. Taking two exposures and blonding them is probably your best bet here.

Yes, sadly the left side lets this one down.
That said, I will be moving this to the Travel and culture gallery due to the visible buildings....
