Bridge in the forest

While wandering around in the forests of SE MN searching for photo subjects, I came across this bridge on the trail. Always something about bridges in the spring time that always makes me want to take a pic!

Nice composition John. This could be a scene from Michigan, or Wisconsin, or another great lakes region. It is that familiar with the lush green spring woods and stream,  and it does have that special quality to the scene that we know so well from this area of the country.

Really love this. Would also be super cool with a bit of an Orton effect applied.

Lovely springtime shot -- a very inviting location. I can imagine hunting morels there.

Actually I was also hunting for Morels! Two years ago I found over 100 Morels in this area, but so far this spring has been very cold and the Morels are very slow in showing themselves! Thanks for the comment!

The Orton effect combines a slightly blurred version with original to add a glowing effect -- have a look at this article by Cindy Crawford.
