Buergenstock, The Alps, Lake Lucerne, Lucerne, Switzerland

On of my pre-spring images, captured last week. Mountain tops are still covered in snow until down to 900m above sea level (Lake Lucerne at ~ 450m above sea level). But one can smell spring already and with temperatures rising we will soon see a lot more green ..

The construction side near the center is what soon becomes the Buergenstock Resort: website , a webcam can be viewed here: webcam

5DSR, 200 mm @ f/8, panorama stitched from 8 images. I did a print (24" Epson 7900) and the amount of detail is stunning.
