Great view of the Fresnel lens -- a bit tight in the frame, but still a fine shot.

Thanks Gary...the shot of the lighthouse is very common but not the architecture of the light area not so much. I have a question, the full shot shows the horizon with a pronounced curve, is that the lens or the earth (it was a clear day with whales spouting many miles out).

When I overlaid a grid on the image, I see no obvious indication of lens distortion. On the other hand, I'm not sure you should be able to see earth's curvature from this elevation. Perhaps there's a shoal or sandbar that waves are crossing far out?
