Taken about 20 mins from my place. Pentax MZ5n, Sigma 28-80@28
Polariser(too much I think), Velvia, F8, 1/4sec. Cloned small powerline running behind barn.

I like the overall feel and composition of this image.

I don't have a problem with overdoing polarization--I like deep blue skies, even if they are artificial. The problem in this shot is that it's not even across the sky--that's difficult to avoid with a wide angle lens.

The light here is quite harsh. I wonder if it can be toned down in PS (especially the hot spots on the barn).

I'm a sucker for shots with red, green and blue. You've got the red and blue--would selectively increasing the saturation (either just the green channel, or just the grass) help bring out the green? I think that would give more punch to this.

Hi Philip. While I agree with the your self critique on the overdone polarizer, I do like the composition and subject here. This would be cool to see in really dramatic light.
