This is our very dear friend Laurie Excell photographing a waterfall in Katmai Alaska this year.

With a name like that, I bet she's good with spreadsheets

A very nice photo

A bit overexposed - going a little less on the exposure to keep the water from blowing out and then brinign up the darker tones in post processing might have made it even better.

Yea, I'd say the water is a bit hot but it doesn't detract from the nice image. Everything else seems to be exposed well.

I have a cd ready for Laurie with this image and some others Ted and I took of her on our June trip to Katmai. ( I also phoned her to let her know about this post)
I will try to remember to get a less burnt out waterfall in the future
