This image I don't know if you are going to like, however I think it was diferent to take this type of image. Most of lighthouse shots are taking from far away so I was making a change. This was taking at about 10:30am and very challenging to expuse

Canon EOS-3, Canon 20mm USM f/2.8, no tripod, Fuji Velvia

Cool shot. Not sure about the flare though.

This is different, and I like it. The composition works with the inclusion of the flare, without it I might think the lighthouse would look good higher in the frame.

It's a cool perspective. Nicely exposed whites. The flare adds interestin in an otherwise dull sky, though that could be an advatage or editorial use.

I did a similar shot the first time I did a lighthouse (http://www.svein-frode.com/Public/LRP10 ... andsen.jpg)

BTW Maxis, I'll be posting a link with some Minolta 5400 scans this weekend.

Your lighthouse in B&W is very nice. The clouds are an important key there! Can't wait to see the results of the scanner, I'm looking to sell mine and get the Minolta 5400. :D
