This is sunrise behind the Montauk Lighthouse. I took this one very cold morning last winter. It was right after this that while walking to the beach to photograph seals I fell through some ice and became partially wet to the waist. Being totally embarrassed and not wanting to make my ride have to drive the hour and a half back home I decided to tough it out. My pants were frozen, I was frozen, my toes were frozen and I eventually, a week later, had the worst case of bronchitis! I did love this shot though, especially the way the sun was lighting up the top and the fresnal lens.
Comments and critiques always welcome!

Nice light. I would have gone a bit wider. I feel it's a bit too tight.

I like this quite a bit tho I wish there was just the tiniest bit more room on top. I like all the shapes and angles as well.

Gail,

Great story and pretty image. I would like to see the top of the house.
