This is another Galapagos Flycatcher on a different island from my previous post. We had a small circle of photographers around this guy and he kept flying into someone's lens hood. We assumed that he was seeing his reflection in the glass. Not many places where you'd complain that a flycatcher got too close.

Looks like a nightmare to me!

Cool shot but the Nikon 80-400 VR doesn't focus near close enough for that. Maybe the Nikon 60mm Micro with a hood. :D

You think it was going after itself to keep itself away from the flowers or feeder? :wink:
