Well I never realized untill I got my slides back after the Swiss trip. This was somewhere on the way St.Moritz-Zermatt. I got so hooked to the beautiful, funny form of the sky and went on and on. By the time I got the frames my feet were deep in the snow. Few feet ahead was this snow-melt-lake about 10 (oops one more zero was there) feet deep.

I can feel the chill! Snow, ice, the deep blue sky. A very nice first post, but I am wondering what manmade element there is that I am overlooking that puts this in the Elements of Humankind gallery? If there isn't anything, it should be moved to Landscapes.

I like this! The curves of the shore, glassy water, and interesting clouds are great. It does look a bit soft though.

Maybe that sign on the far shore that looks like it indicates some kind of danger.

This is a lovely landscape. I can't see the "hand of man" though -- why did you choose to post it here instead of Landscapes?

It definitely makes me shiver to looks at this. The crispness and blue compliment the scenery very nicely.
