I have to admit I am a little confused by this image. Is that a building underwater? If so, what are the people standing on?

If you have time to explain a little more I would love to know, as I feel there is a lot of impact in this photo with a little more explanation. Thanks!

Ok, the two men are standing on a road that is almost completely submerged. They are on the edge of an old bridge that used to cross the river about 30 meters below.
This was one of the places were people would come to see the waters rising. Now the waters are already a lot higher.

Both this and the other shot have been pretty interesting. How have the locals reacted to this submerging? Will the trees and hill in the BG of this image eventually be submerged as well? I think this works well for documentation purposes Alexandre though it does need some explanation for people to understand what is going on especially if they've missed the previous image!

Wow, unbelievable. I also just noticed your other post (sorry that I over looked it before), taking pictures as this unfolds will tell a compelling story.

Although people were given an all new replica village about a mile away from the old one, with much better infrastructures they weren't happy at all to change. I guess its understandable, since they were leaving there for centuries.
The water will rise exactly 'till the "timber line". They removed all the tree until there.

I will post a couple more images about this subject soon.
