time exposure, details are forgotten, either sensia II or provia 100,
F5, 24-120mm lens tripod obviously. I let the camera meter the scene and it worked. I might have used a comp of plus 1 for recipiprosity failure, since I often so that.
It was a neat place offered for our use by a wonderful couple who have been travelling Baja for over 40 years. She was the first woman driver in the Baja 100, both are in their 70's plus. The have visited Baja by land, sea and air. Marv and Eletha Patchen are a wonderful couple and Baja is an excellent place to visit and share.

Steve---Rather surrealistic with very black patterns and blurry sky! Where is the back of the cabin? Looking at the right makes me think this is a cabin front of some sort.

Steve, this looks weird, what happened to the rest of the cabin? Is there any detail to be found in the shadowed bushes? As you know I love the effect and you did MUCH better with this scene than I did.

This was a neat shot. I was directly behind the cabin so it looks like it is only two dimensional and that effect is wierd. I didn't notice that part, since it was very dark when we were shooting.
Yes, there are details in the shadows, but not evident in the scan.

Just came back to look at it again. I really like your version of this. I think you toned down the candlelit windows a little, it works. That's the World's Largest Elephant Tree in the center, in case anyone wondered. :)

I've looked at this time and time again. It just looks so surreal. I'd love to see the place in person!
