(Bald Eagles) Homer, Alaska

Or "An Eagle Shoot" if you prefer. Taken at the end of the spit at Lands End. If you rent a room at Lands End, you don't need to go far to see an Eagle. But you do need to keep a hat on. BTW, I count 11 Bald Eagles, two gulls and two photographers in this image.

Handheld Nikon D1H, 24-85mm AFS, ISO 200, Aperture Priority, 1/125 @ F11. Leveled and cropped about 10% or so.

What a place it must be when Eagles are so numerous they dot the skies like that. :)

Anthony, It's nice to have an overview and see the big picture after all the great eagle images you have presented.

Wow! Look at all those birds!!! Indeed looks very promising! :-)
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

There is one sitting on the last Condo but I still count 11 Eagles. Two of the flying birds are gulls. Of course, we decided earlier that I shouldn't ever be counting anything.

Hope it's this promising at the end of February! Sorry to be missing you there, but I'm staying at Land's End and am salivating over the possibilities!
