I have been waiting for the right moment to post this. Lake Wacammaw, Cypress trees and the dock. The colors were a bit of a chore to work and I think it can still get some improvement as I learn more fine tuning in PS.

I have never sen trees like these! This is very interesting Steve. I especially like pier and it's reflection leading into the frame in the background.

There's a lot going on in this image but it all works together nicely. That must be a cool lens to have. :)

Nicely composed shot. I really like the warm red light and the partial frame of tree at the top.

Very nice. I like the still water. If I had to find any nit there is a tad tilt to the horizon. (probably <0.5 degrees)

Steve Sage,\I checked it out in photoship. The horizon is straight. Using the measuring tool, I got zero degrees.
Perhaps it looks that way since the trees tilt a little.

Sorry Steve, I was being overly picky looking for something to critique. I thought I saw it and just scrolled the horizon to the top of the browser window. What we actually see appears to me to be .2 degrees CW rotation and slight noticable barrel distortion effect of the 16mm perspective. I would say if E.J. didn't notice it it was not noteworthy or is not there. :? I've had this vestibular problem for a couple days

Great shot, Steve! The light is perfect and the composition is masterful.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
