This just began yesterday. I haven't changed any settings recently. When I click on an image I get the little spinning wheel over the image and it never opens larger. It doesn't matter which image, and it happens on images I have previously opened up successfully. I read the previous post about this issue and I do have Adblockplus enabled, but that has been the case for a few years. So what has changed? Does the Adblockplus just need a periodic refresh? I use IE 11.

I would prefer to use some sort of adblocking software so my browser doesn't look like freakin Times Square all the time.

Thanks.
Robert

Update: I just updated Adblockplus to it's latest version to see if that fixed it, but still have the problem.
Disabling Adblockplus doesn't solve the problem either.

I'm also seeing this issue on one of my two machines. I'm running OS/X 10.9.5 on both machines and Safari, Chrome and Firefox exhibit the same issue on the one machine.

I don't use Adblockplus but I am having the same problem when clicking on the images. I have tried with Firefox, Chrome and Edge and get the same problem with all three, on two different machines.

This began yesterday and I thought it was just a blip that would right itself, but still the same today.

Others have reported the same problem here:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=269222

I can open the images on dark BG when clicked on, as I stated on that thread. I'm using Windows 7 on desktop with Chrome and Safari with Chrome on older iPad. No problems here.

Another issue that may be related somehow is that when I click on an image in galleries, the image opens right away. Before, the number of replies came up upon first click and then a second click would open the image. Sometimes I only wanted to see if there were any new replies before opening the image. It just started now, as well.

Today I can open the larger image with dark surround although the whole original image does turn blue for a few seconds before the larger image appears.

Exactly the same here. But that is an improvement over what I had yesterday.

Not working here, seems like some sort of intermittent issue. other small changes in how the forums work too like the forum not returning to the thread you just posted in automatically.

I suspect caching issues....no front-end code has been changed since Thursday (23rd March) night. Some back-end code changed but that's a completely different system that nobody gets to see.

Nicholas, ever since Thursday, there have been issues like this on my end on all three platforms that I use.  Another one is that after you make a post, it just stops on the page you get after the post and doesn't eventually return to the thread like it did before.  So I'm guessing something that was done on the back-end code changed this.  Another thing that changed is the font in the View Source mode - not a big thing, but it did change.

At this point I am still not able to click on a photo and see it, you just get a beachball on a Mac, a spinning gear on IOS, and a spinning disk on Windows.  Something changed!

It's working again today, yea. All images open up when clicked on.
