Hi,

Some images in the Galleries say click to enlarge, when I click them nothing happens, I'm using Firefox 47.0.1 with Windows 7, is there a fix for this?

Thanks
Joe.

Hello Joe,

Can you give some specific examples (links)?

Thanks

That one works fine but it may just be that the image on your screen is already at full size depending on your monitor and window size. When you click on that image, does it reappear with a darker background? If so then everything is normal and you are just running a larger window or higher pixel count monitor than the poster.

Hi E.J,

When I click on the Image nothing happens, the size of the image as viewed is 949px × 633px.

Weird, what happens if you use a different browser?

Then it's clearly an issue with Firefox but since many on the site use FF and I also don't have the problem you are seeing, it may be something with your particular customization of Firefox. Try this, lanuch NSN and then hit Ctrl-0 or Cmd-0 on a Mac. Now try it. If that doesn't fix it then try this - go into Firefox > Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled > Restart > Refresh Firefox. Shut down Firefox, wait a few seconds and restart Firefox and go to NSN and try to view a photo by clicking on it.

It was adblock + was the problem, now when I click the image it appears above the original but a bit smaller, I would have thought it would be larger.

When you click through the image is loaded at its maximum size but resizes to fit the browser window. For instance, the image referenced in the post above resizes (on my screen) to 1200x800 when I maximise my browser. (Note: If you click on the image and then resize your browser the image will not resize; the image's size is determined by the browser size when the image is opened.)

Also, I'm surprised that it's AdBlock Plus that's causing the issue. Most of the scripts are local (to NSN) but maybe there's a reference that's being blocked.

Thanks for the info, I too was surprised that it was AdBlock Plus.
