for some reason the image download has become very slow. Image loads in segments not as a complete image. Never had this problem before. I have an iMac with the latest system upgrade.

Do you have any specific posts where this happens, or is it all of them? It's most likely a network problem between your computer and the NSN servers, but we can double-check a few that are doing this for you. I've just checked around a few galleries and I'm not observing any issues right now.
