While I do not do a lot of video, I am beginning to do more than in the past - especially on "special trips".  I have been using Photoshop to do basic color/tone adjustments and trimming.  I do not want to add Premier to my account it is just too expensive and seems overkill for what I plan to do. So, research has pointed me to Movavi Video Editor Plus 2021.  Does anyone have any experience with this?  It seems to be a stand alone package costing about $60. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I primarily use it for splicing and video file format conversion. Pretty straight forward program with good instructions in "Help" section.

I don't know anything about that company, but I'd compare with Free version of Davinci Resolve - https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/produc ... ciresolve/
 and http://shotcut.org/

Photoshop Elements and Premier are almost always a part of BestBuys Black Friday specials. This year they are going to be $89.99 as a package together:

Sorry, but I can’t separate it from the full page or it will give the regular price.

This is not a subscription model.

Hi Ed. I use the Movavi software and have been pleased with it overall. It seems pretty basic but I do very little video so it works fine for me. I use Freeplay Music along with Movavi as background music to play under the sound of the video.

Hi,

I use Vegas Movie Studio https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/i ... lArZvjlyXI

I'm just getting into doing videos, and this has all I need. And it usually comes bundles with some other nice products.

Have Fun,

I do a lot of video work, and it's essential to have the right tools. Movavi Video Editor is an excellent choice, and I've been using it for a while.

The reason I prefer Movavi is its balance of features and affordability. It's an all-in-one solution for video editing with powerful AI tools for denoising sound and background replacement. You can easily trim, reverse, resize, merge, flip, and crop your videos. It offers a wide range of transitions, titles, and filters, which makes your videos stand out.

Find out more about the features of this video editing software on their site.

Wondershare Filmora is another option worth exploring.
