I assume others have noticed this who have the Nik Collection, the recent version.  Any word from DxO when the HOT Fix will be available?

Thanks!

Have you checked the “Message Center“ yet? This is what they have said, so far:

Has anyone else noticed that their Nik filters brush tool stopped working with the installation of Photoshop 2021?

The filter brush tool allowed for precise targeted adjustments with Color Efex Pro 4 and Viveza 2 filters in the previous Photoshop version. Using a Wacom table or mouse, the adjustments now appear and then immediately vanish without being applied to the image.

I don't know, Bill. I've got a PC and haven't been able to find any mention of the issue online. It could be unique to my situation, but thought it worthwhile to see if anyone here has experienced the brush problem.

Yes, I noticed that.  They have a good sale on right now, especially for the upgrade price.  I just purchased and installed with no problems on Win10 machine.

The new update corrected most of the issues. The brush now works for me. They did a HOT Fix.

Yes, all of these things affected my PC. However earlier this week I checked for updates and there was a fix that seems to be working fine now.

Thank you Roy, Nancy, and Ed! You folks pointed the way to the solution. I was working with the assumption that the version downloaded on June 26 2020 would be the same as the one currently listed at the Nik site. Obviously not the case, and today's fresh download fixed the problem. Ah, life's good again!
