I want to be sure that I don't need to recover the LR Previews.Irdata folder
I have a compromised HD and and I selectively recovering data through a work around
This is a huge file and if it can be rebuilt without to much trouble from the other catalog files which I have already saved I would prefer not too
Thanks in advance

My LR back-up was about 3 weeks out so really needed to recover the LR files. All the side card files also have the LR work stored
All photo files are on separate hard drives

You don't need to recover the LR Previews.Irdata folder. This folder can be recreated with LR and the original files.
