So I have upgraded to Z490 and a i9-10850K that I had Micro Center build. Apparently the Ethernet port not working is a common issue with the Intel driver and a variety of Z490 motherboards. I have tried watching videos, reading forums, I can’t get it to work. Anyone here been thru this yet? Thank goodness the ASUS MB I bought has WiFi. Calling ASUS tech tomorrow. Not looking forward to that.

One thing that is very annoying is that I can't even run the troubleshooter in Windows. I get the following every time I try.

I also was getting this trying to open various files. I fixed that watching a video, but I am unable to get the troubleshooter to run. I am the Admin, I'm the only one using the PC.

Since Micro Center built it for you, isn't it their problem to fix and resolve? I had a minor issue on one of my desktops they built and they fixed it quickly and without charge to me.

I may take it back in, trying to avoid that if possible. They have a two week backlog, and I have already been without a desktop for a month.
