Two questions:

For those of you with a Canon 7D MkII, how high are you willing to go with your ISO to get a very high shutter speed on a decent-light day? On a low-light day? And how well can you clean up the noise that results in post-processing?

Which of the current line of Canon bodies will give you the best shooting options as far as higher ISO/ shutter speed is concerned?

Download a trial copy of Topaz AI Denoise, it does a very good job of cleaning up noise without negatively impacting detail. That'll probably change answers to your question about how high of ISO you can shoot :) I routinely shot that body at ISO800 in good light, and pushed it to about 2000-2500 as needed. Those files are cleaning up really nicely with Topaz.

I routinely use ISO 3200 and sometimes 6400 but rely on Topaz DeNoise to clean later. Works very well for me.
