Flickering Timelapse Video question

Hi,
Sorry for yet another question from me this week. I used Lightrooms slideshow function with a timelapse template that I found online to create a timelapse video of comet Neowise moving across the sky. The templates I downloaded allow for 15fps, 24fps, etc.. 
Still, no matter which one I use(or other templates that I found online), I get a "flickering" video where black frames are intermittently inserted into the video. It leads to a strobe effect when watching the video. 
I tried working directly from the raw files, and also from exported jpgs that I re-imported back into Lightroom, but the same problem occurs. Does anyone know how to stop this behavior or suggest alternative software?

Hi Scott, I am assuming you have both LR and PS. You may want to check out this link for creating Time Lapse using Photoshop. It may be useful for you.

The LR-Plugin LRtimelaps that was created by the Gernan photographer and software developper Gunther Wegener is by far the best application for creating time lapse videos I've seen and used by many photogs here in Europe. I used it for creating my aurora videos and its simply excellent.I never experienced flickering.

There are many tutorials and instructions, too. The only "downside" is that it's not free. But it's well worth the price, IMO.

Thanks, you’re the second person to suggest it. It’s a bit pricey, but after trying a couple of other programs, I bit the bullet and bought LRTimelapse, and I can see why people recommended it. It works great!
