When I use the straighten tool in Photoshop the grid is now about 60 lines by 100 lines instead of the normal grid lines.  Does anyone know how to change that back to the standard grid lines for straightening.  I can't even see the picture I am trying to straighten. Thanks

Yeah, I noticed that too. Very annoying. I would like the answer to this this!

Try going to Guides, Grids and Slices in Preferences and changing the number under grids.

E.J. Thanks for the suggestion.  That doesn't seem to be the issue.  Some other things that I have noticed is it no longer creates a layer when I crop.  And for a couple o days the crop tool was very sluggish it seems a little better now.  I am wondering if it has something to do with the graphics card and a recent update in Photoshop.

Before going any further, please clear your Photoshop preferences file but before you do that make sure you save your workspace so that any customizations you made can be restored easily.

Good news. In general, that's the first thing you should try whenever anything in Photoshop goes wonky!
