When I use Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader to import Sony raw files (.ARW) it will not apply metadata templates, which it has always done for me when importing Canon raw files (.CR2).  For each Canon raw file Photo Downloader creates a sidecar file containing the selected metadata template.  When importing my Sony raw files Photo Downloader will not create a sidecar file containing the metadata.  Has anyone gotten Photo Downloader to apply metadata to Sony raw files on import?

Hi Tony,

It always helps to include the exact camera model and the exact version of Photoshop to solve problems like this.

Yes, of course.  I'm using Adobe Bridge v. 10.0.3.138 and a Sony Alpha A9 II.  Sorry for not stating this in the first place.

Interesting, I was thinking that maybe you were using a version that didn't support your camera but this version should so it sounds like a bug that will need to be reported to Adobe. new version of Bridge with new camera, not surprising that there could be a bug.
