For those still clamoring for the really large screen laptops that used to be common place, Apple comes close with a new 16" model:

Maxed out configuration is over $6K with 2.4GHz i9, 64GB RAM, AMD-ATI graphics with 8GB, and 8TB of SSD.  It looks like the 15" models have been dropped.

What configuration would you recommend? 16 go of ram or 32?
My desktop is aging and I’m starting to think about going the laptop route instead of a new desktop.

Most definitely 32 and if you can afford it 64. In today's world, 16 is a bare minimum that will slow you down.
