Apple's new OS update breaks older applications such as Aperture and earlier versions of Photoshop, so I have no plans for the time being of upgrading my laptop or desktop. However, Apple tends to nag you to update, plus there are notifications telling you that you have updates available.
Does anyone know how to stop this behaviour?

This is the reason why I use Windows Pro you can turn off the nagging

I've done that, so far no reminders to update, but I still have an icon on the system preferences and the app store showing an update is available. I guess there's no way to get rid of the alert, but it annoys me seeing it.

I just got this email warning about the update ... anyone who has updated experience printing issues or not?
I use LR Classic/PSCC

Statement on OSX 10.15 Catalina

Red River Paper has received a number of complaints that after updating to Catalina, some aspects of the print process no longer work. This is fairly common with each new version of OSX. Given that "printing season" is upon us, Red River Paper recommends you do not update to 10.15 Catalina at this time. New operating systems take between 3-6 months before they are fully vetted and free of major bugs. If you value your ability to print or it is critical to your business, do not update.

The Apple Pay nagging is annoying as well. I think the only reason I don’t use it is because they try to force me to set it up.
