Keep in mind Apple throttled speed of 2018 Macbook Pro15 . I can't imagine trusting their advertising now. But I'm sure some will fork out the money for that shinny apple logo.

A little overstated, they throttled their i9 based systems as their thermal protection was a bit aggressive.
