Great article. It is a big issue. A few years ago I had an issue with a supposedly Western Digital HD that was DOA from a third party seller on a well known on-line electronic merchandise site. It took a couple of weeks for the merchandise site owner to step up and assist. They kept trying to have me work with the third party seller to rectify the situation. Finally, I convinced them to stand by the return policy and the issue was resolved. Very frustrating.
