I've searched but can't find recent info about how bug free Win 10 update 1809 is at this point - safe to install?

After the file loss debacle of that version, I'm skipping this one.

Thanks E.J.
I guess I'll just leave my computers with Win Home installed on Metered Connection.
Is this a feasible long term solution?

That's a different question. Win 10 Pro is definitely better in many way and if I had to make a decision between Home and Pro 1809 I would go for Pro. 1809 has been out for about 6 months now so the problems should be resolved. I just don't have a reason to go there until I am forced to after 365 days.
