I currently use Windows 7 on my desktop. Should I be concerned about Windows 7 losing support from Microsoft or any other bad things happening that would make Windows 7 not usable?

If I do upgrade to Windows 10 are non-Microsoft sources for the software safe? Microsoft charges $195 for Windows 10 Pro, but some lower priced sources are:

$50 from an outfit called Fast Software (https://fastsoftware.com/products/micro ... 5MEALw_wcB)

$100 from an outfit called Office Media (https://www.officemediasoftware.com/ind ... y3EALw_wcB).

Are sources like these safe?

Thanks in advance for any help.

This link explained how to get the free upgrade directly from Microsoft.
Can't vouch for it, only read it after buying it.
